New Delhi:The Stuart Fails to Save the Universe trailer is finally here and it’s great to see Kevin Sussman return as Stuart Bloom from the Big Bang Theory universe. The upcoming spinoff continues Stuart’s story as he finds himself caught up in an unforeseen multiverse crisis, featuring familiar faces and new challenges from within the franchise.
Created by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn and Bill Prady, the new addition to the universe got its title on March 19, 2025.

When is Stuart Fails to Save the Universe coming out?
The comedy-drama series Stuart Fails to Save the Universe will be premiering on HBO Max and HBO platform from 23 July 2026. However, the show may also be available in India on the JioHotstar platform, it is expected. It is yet to be officially confirmed for its OTT platform in India.
What is "Stuart Fails to Save the Universe" about?
Deadline reports the Big Bang Theory spinoff will center on comic book store owner Stuart Bloom (Kevin Sussman), who accidentally destroys a device created by Sheldon and Leonard, leading to a multiverse crisis. Stuart teams up with his girlfriend Denise, friend Bert and quantum physicist Barry Kripke to fix the damage and restore reality.

About The Big Bang Theory
For the unversed, The Big Bang Theory premiered in 2007 and ran successfully till its final episode in 2019. The popular sitcom starred Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Mayim Bialik, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar in the lead roles.
The series was created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady and deals with a group of scientists who are highly intelligent but socially inept as they deal with friendship, relationships and life on a daily basis. The show was popular enough to lead to the franchise’s expansion, including the spin-off Young Sheldon (with Iain Armitage in the lead role).
