New Delhi:Kannada actor Krishi Thapanda has shared her first public statement after a friend and businessman, Vaishak, died by suicide at her Bengaluru home on June 25. Days later, she posted a note on Instagram, she said she never thought she would have to address such a deeply personal tragedy in public.

"I never thought I would have to write something like this. “I do not have the energy or the mental strength to write this or even put this out into the world,” she wrote in an Instagram statement. said she had chosen to stay silent at first. But the constant speculation and repeated questions aimed at her, her friends and both families made her feel she had to speak.
“Vaishak was very dear to me,” she recalled. And with everything that happened, I lost someone who was very close to my heart, someone who stood by me, protected me and cared for me with nothing but a kind heart. I can’t describe the void that his loss has left.” I don’t know if I’ll ever really come to terms with this loss.”
The actress also opened up about the emotional pain she has endured. “I’ve been living with pain for a long time and now I’m mourning another unbelievable loss. "It is like I have lost parts of myself along the way.
The rumours surrounding the incident had made the grieving process all the more difficult, she said. What makes it even harder is that I haven’t had the time or space to grieve. Instead, it has been constant speculation, assumption and attempts to turn someone's death into a story, while his family, friends and loved ones are trying to cope with an unimaginable loss.”

She held her hands and appealed to all to let Vaishak rest in peace and respect the privacy of his family, friends and loved ones. Krishi also turned off the comments on her Instagram post, before signing off with a final plea: "I'm begging you to stop.
Krishi Thapanda’s friend ends life in Bengaluru apartment
Businessman Vaishak was found dead at Kannada actor Krishi Thapanda’s apartment in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru on June 25. The police said that the incident took place when Krishi was out and Vaishak was alone in the fourth floor flat.
Vaishak had called Krishi shortly before his death and told her about his intention to take the extreme step, the investigators said. Krishi got the call and immediately alerted his family, telling them about the situation. They hastened to the apartment and there found him dead.
Police said both Krishi and Vaishak had keys to the apartment. Initial reports suggest that Vaishak is suffering from depression. The case is under investigation by the RR Nagar police, after a complaint was filed by his father. Officials said more details are likely to come out as the investigation continues.
