Tehran:Ayatollah Mohsen Qomi, Assembly of Experts member and the Deputy for International Affairs in the office of the Supreme Leader of Iran, on Friday rejected the claims by the US on Iran's Supreme Leader and said that the leader is in perfect health and doing good, Fars News Agency reported. Qomi added such tactics are used by the West to draw their reaction and indulge in rumour mongering.
Some ask about the health condition of His Eminence the Leader, Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei. This is a trick of the enemy who wants to say, ‘Why he is not here? Why doesn't he send a voice or video message? Why don't those who have been to see him come out and talk?“They want to use these questions to make us react, so that they can achieve their goals,” he was quoted as saying by Fars News Agency.
Iran officials now focused on saving life of Supreme LeaderQomi said that even though he was hurt, Iranian officials were now more concerned with keeping the Supreme Leader alive. "Right now, the most important thing for us is to help keep His Eminence the Leader alive. He is the Proof of God on Earth right now. "And I promise you that even though he was hurt there, God kept him safe as a treasure for the Shia," he said.
Qomi also said that Mojtaba Khamenei was in the building that was bombed but was saved in the end. "He was in that building that got bombed, where other people died. He had gone into the courtyard just minutes before the explosion, as God had planned. He said, "God wanted him to live."
Mojtaba is in great health and is taking care of business. He is now in good health and is actively taking care of business affairs. He is directly responsible for the affairs of negotiations and field operations. Recently he even gave specific instructions to the negotiating team on what to do in different conditions. He is in full control of the situation,” Qomi said, according to the Fars News agency.
