New Delhi:Celina Jaitly, an actress, recently posted a touching video on social media while she was still going through a divorce from her Austrian husband, Peter Haag. In the video, Celina went to her dead son's grave, cleaned it up, and then broke down in tears. She also wrote a long note about the hard time she's having right now and said she would "not give up" along with the video.
Celina lost her son, Shamsher, shortly after he was born in 2017. He died because he had a heart condition from birth called hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS). Shamsher was one of Celina and Peter Haag's second set of twins. His twin brother Arthur lived.

Celina opened up about the past few weeks, saying, “I had no choice but to share this heartbreaking video to show the world my trauma as a mother. The past few weeks were the most difficult weeks of my life. “I was in Austria for the trial of my divorce.”
The actor later complained that she was promised before an Austrian court that she would be allowed to see her children but was not. She claimed that her children were taken to a secret place and she was allowed to see only her dead son, Shamsher.
“My children who were taken away to a place I don’t know were not brought back to the marital residence, despite a promise made before an Austrian judge. The only child I met was my son Shamsher who passed away some time back. “This is the heartbreaking story of a mother who has done everything for her children since the day they were born,” she wrote.
Celina also thought about the things she says she gave up during her marriage. She said that over the years, she moved to several countries with her husband to support his work, leaving behind her country, career, and family. "I moved from India to Dubai, Singapore, Austria, back to Dubai, and then to Austria again to help my husband's career. I left my country, my parents, and my job. I took care of my kids all by myself while fully supporting his goals, moves, dreams, and the life we built together. "I watched my assets being taken away, piece by piece, because I was dedicated to marriage and children," she said.
The actress also said that she wanted the divorce to be friendly, but now she can't talk to her kids, even though they have joint custody and an Austrian family court order. She wrote, "Even though I have joint custody and a valid order from the Austrian Family Court, I am currently DENIED ANY COMMUNICATION with my three children and I am heartbroken!"
She also said that people had tried to get in the way of her relationship with her kids more than once. "There has been repeated interference with my children's access to me, including exposure to selective media narratives, which has made it hard for me to talk to them regularly. They have also been brainwashed and threatened to say things against me, a mother who has done nothing but care for them since the day they were born, moving from one country to another to support their father's career," she said.
In 2025, Celina Jaitly accused her husband Peter Haag of domestic violence.
In November 2025, Celina sued Peter Haag for domestic violence, cruelty, and manipulation. She also wanted Rs 50 crore and more money. The court is currently hearing the case.
Celina Jaitly hasn't been in many movies in the past few years. The last time she was in a lead role was in the romantic comedy Thank You in 2011.
