The PTI has submitted a list of six lawyers to Adiala Jail authority, requesting a meeting with Imran Khan. Additionally, the party has called on its followers throughout Pakistan to assemble outside the prison.
Section 144 imposed in RawalpindiAmid the planned demonstrations, the Pakistan government has placed security agencies on high alert. All roads leading to Adiala Jail have been sealed, and Section 144 has been implemented in Rawalpindi.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister and PTI leader Sohail Afridi has repeatedly been denied permissions to meet Imran Khan. Afridi staged a demonstration outside Adiala Jail and declared that if they are not given information about the PTI chief, a large-scale protest will take place throughout Pakistan.
The fact that the government is still preventing Imran Khan from attending meetings is extremely concerning for the whole country. According to CM Sohail Afridi, he hasn't been permitted to see anyone for 28 days since November 4th.This needs to stop right away, and his meetings need to resume right away," the PTI Canada X handle wrote.
Claims of Imran Khan's deathUnverified rumors regarding Imran Khan's passing have proliferated on social media. The speculation intensified after the Baluchistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs alleged that Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI, along with Army Chief Asim Munir, orchestrated a plot to assassinate Khan inside Adyala Jail in Rawalpindi.
